Ajit Pratap Singh is an accomplished academic with a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. His doctoral dissertation, titled “Essays on Digital Platforms and Network Effects,” investigates the transformative influence of network effects in multi-sided markets, offering innovative perspectives on the rapidly evolving field of operations management within the digital economy.With a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Ajit combines a strong technical foundation with five years of experience in the manufacturing sector. His professional career spans a range of roles, including project management, maintenance, production, and leading design initiatives as the Head of Design for an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
Ajit’s research interests underscore his dedication to tackling pressing issues in modern operations and supply chain management. His work focuses on platform economies, multi-sided market dynamics, network effects, revenue management, dynamic pricing strategies, and agricultural supply chain optimization.
