Shrikanth Rao is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with over 27 years of industry experience straddling banking and audit with the big four.
His experience within the banking domain encompasses financial control, regulatory compliance, business finance, core banking solutions – evaluation and roll out, business process re-engineering, decision support systems and technology enabled management information systems.He has worked with banks abroad and in India.
His last banking engagement was with ING as Head of ING Group Reporting function that oversaw all accounting, budgeting and reportingaspects within the IFRS framework of ING’s India Operations to the parent at Amsterdam.
His stint with the big four (KPMG & E&Y) involved audits and management assignments at multiple blue-chip listed companies in the manufacturing sector. Assignments abroad covered companies in the Oil & Banking sectors and multi-brand diversified corporate groups.
