MBA-HRM

Master of Business Administration – Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM)

Program Mission: Value Creation Through People

As businesses face rapid changes and growing complexities, the role of Human Resources has shifted from a traditional support function to that of a strategic partner. The HR professional now acts as an enabler—supporting business leaders in achieving strategic objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and empowering employees to reach their full potential. As organizations face new challenges and opportunities, HR has become essential in driving organizational agility, employee engagement, and operational excellence through strategic, data-driven decision-making.

However, a global shortage of highly skilled HR professionals leaves a significant gap. To address this need, TAPMI’s MBA-HRM program is designed to cultivate the next generation of HR leaders. With a mission to create value through people, the program prepares students to master various HR competencies—including behavioural, functional, strategic, and institutional expertise—enabling them to become trusted partners in achieving business success.

Industry Benchmarked Curriculum

TAPMI’s MBA-HRM program is structured to meet the needs of the rapidly evolving organizational landscape, focusing on developing professionals capable of driving performance and business outcomes. The curriculum is comprehensive and rigorous, developed in consultation with an advisory board consisting of academicians and industry experts. Ensuring alignment with current global HR practices, the program ensures that students are equipped with the most current global HR practices, preparing them to excel as HR leaders in any organization.

Leadership Development and Experiential Learning

Students undergo hands-on training to build leadership and decision-making skills through the Leadership Assessment and Development Centre (LADC). The curriculum also includes specialized workshops on Competency Mapping, Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Development, Coaching, and Compensation and Tax Management. Students gain practical, real-world HR experience through immersive, extended internships of up to 5 months, paired with projects in the social sector to foster empathy and social responsibility.

The program provides hands-on data analytics and artificial intelligence training as the human resources function rapidly evolves to embrace cutting-edge technologies.

The MBA-HRM program at TAPMI is more than just a course—it’s a journey of growth and transformation, where students not only learn HR fundamentals but also become capable leaders who create value for individuals, teams, and organizations.
